What are Recycled Auto Parts?
Parts that are original equipment (OE) that have been reclaimed from
vehicles no longer being driven. MARATHON gets these parts from
vehicles acquired at auctions, from insurance companies, fleets and
individuals. While some of these vehicles are collision-damaged,
all of them have usable and unaffected parts. MARATHON inspects,
dismantles, cleans and tests each part before it is inventoried for
sale. At MARATHON, we stand by our recycled parts, which is unlike
many yards that provide no guarantees.
Why use Recycled Parts?
A number of reasons. First, they’re cost-effective. A
lot less expensive than new parts. In fact, many insurance
companies require the use of recycled parts in auto body repairs.
